About the Episode:

After Joel Styzens was diagnosed with tinnitus and hyperacusis, he left his career as a professional drummer to begin composing for guitar resulting in captivating, uplifting meditations. He will be accompanied by Sophie Webber on cello.

This was a great experience and I am proud to share this man's brilliant talent. You can see Joel and Sophie this Friday, June 11, 2010 at 8 pm at the Old Town School of Folk Music, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, IL in the Gary and Laura Maurer Concert Hall. Following Joel and Headlining the evening is "House of Waters" an eclectic band of virtoso musicians led by pioneering hammered dulcimer player Max ZT.
